Stainless header question
 

how many of you who are running stainless headers have just left them in the raw form? just curious as to if i should get mine coated or run them as is. Personally i like the regular stainless finish.

I just asked speedtech that question before I ordered my stainless headers and they said mostpeople leave them raw. And from what I can tell people leave them raw in all the projects I looked at. Ill leave them raw if I want later ill coat them.

I coated mine with Jet-Hot coatings. I love the look of raw stainless but they can be (slightly) painful when they get hot...

I'm running my stainless headers with no coatings. I like the look of the raw stainless after it gets heated up.

If you are going to coat them, then what's the real point of using stainless?

I guess if you want to have the headers last longer than the car...

well thats what I was thinking too, just was curious as to what the rest were doing.
