header ground clearance?
 

Looks like I have around 3 1/2" of clearance from the header collector. Seems like not very much. Does anyone have their measurement that I can reference?

Also, is there anything wrong with running 2 1/2" exhaust into mufflers and 3" out the back? The only reason I am doing this is because the convertible has restricted space for 3" to the mufflers.

I'm using oval tube from headers to muffs on my Nova. Doesn't give a huge amount extra but might be just enough for you to get 3" all the way. My headers fit very tight under the car and don't hang down... but they are custom Lemons.

Most say you lose very little dropping to 2.5" and it can actually boost torque?
