American Powetrain - terrible delivery time and wrong parts!

2 Attachment(s)
Hi

After waiting for a white lighning shifter mechanism for my T56 magnum for 4 months from american power train I'm now seeking help from someone else. They can't seem to send the correct parts and now after 3 attempts i must now hear if someone can sell me a white lightning and ship to me as I'm having a huge time crunsh having the car ready for a car show in may. As i live in norway the parts are not of the shelf here. I have an US shipping address and planes leaving every week.

The story:

Back in november i made contact with American Powertrain due to the fact my brand new T56 was leaking oil just after 3 hours use. I bought the complete tranny package from American Powertrain 8 months earlier. I was told that there was a construction problem with their shifter and I was recommended to upgrade to the white lightning shifter. I payd up and i received the new shifter just before christmas 1 month later. To my big suppress they sent the wrong shifter (it was probably for the TKO). After sending probably 15 emails asking where the new shifter was they concluded that it was lost in mail- this was in February 3 months after initial payment. Now almost 4 months i recived the 3 attempt and again the wrong shifter was sent.

I am willing to pay another payment to get me my parts - as i can't trust american powetrain to come trough on this. I sent them a message that i again received the wrong parts on thursday without any answer - i can say the tone between myself and American Powetrain are not that great any more because my patience has been wearing thin over the last months.

So long story short : Can someone help me get a white lighning shifter?

Il attach a pictures of the different shifters that i received along with my original one, and a picture of what i need.

Thanks for any help

Runar

Yea, I thought that was strange, this is not how we do things here in Norway- but I figured there can be different rights in the US. I got some discount on the new one tough...

@vince: you sure that is the correct one, it says TKO. Mine is a t56 magnum.

Made contact with AP today, and they promised to ship the correct part tomorrow. They had for some reason got the impression that I wanted the mid shift shifter so they have shipped what they intended to ship. A little strange cause a mid shift shifter in a 67 Camaro would end up inside the dash...

Anyway...I'm crossing fingers and what not and hope Il get the correct parts soon....
