Cam/Main Bearings
 

Hey all!
Looking for suggestions on bearings for my 6.1 Hemi going in my 74 Challenger. Bought the low mileage engine with a spun rod bearing, so I'm shying away from factory ones. Last time I built an engine(10+ years ago) I used Clevite bearings, but looking now, they have numerous options. Not sure which I should choose or if there's another brand that would be better.

I'm basically building my car to be a driver that I could jump in and drive across the country, spirited drives in the mountains, cruise, and who knows what else.

Any help?

Calico sells coated bearings for all makes of motors. You should find a friendly local auto machine shop to help with parts. Many times you can get items cheaper than Summit along with experience and good advice.
