325 or 305 for 11 inch wide wheel?

Hello,
I am trying to decide if I should go with a 325-30-20 or 305-30-20 for an 11 inch wide wheel. They are going on a 69 camaro with dse mini tubes. I am just worried that the side wall my bulge out to much with the 325. If anyone has ran a 325 on an 11 inch wheel and has pictures please post them. Thanks.

Jackass had DSE tubs, and 20 x 12. http://www.camaroperformers.com/feat...g-1969-camaro/ (I am not sure if they did any other modifications to the wheelwell.)

Best to check with tire manufacturer for their recommendation!

The 325 was designed for the C6 Z06 Corvette to be fitted on a 12.0" wide wheel. Check the specifications of the tread width and match the tread width to the wheel width for optimum performance.

All your tire fitments go by measured rim width. For example an advertised 9.5" rim width could be 10 1/4" wide. ChecK with your tire manufacturer.

I ran a 315/35/17 on a 11inch wide wheel, was pretty flat (no bulge or stretch)

Here they are on the front of my 2nd gen, had to do some mods to get a 315 to work up front lol

Thanks everyone for the info. I ended up getting the 305's and they look good.

So if you order a 9 1/4" wide wheel they can send you a 10 1/4" wheel (measured at the same place) and that's ok? Never heard of such a thing.

You sound alot like me. I dont believe anything until I try it my self. If you dont plan on buying wheels anytime soon give one of the wheel manufacturers a call.
