Fuel pump eccentric
 

I am building a '64 389 and am having trouble with the fuel pump eccentric. When I try to tighten it down it just tightens the timing chain gear against the block to where it jams. What does one of these look like when it is installed? I just put a comp cams cam and timing chain.
