Some C2-C3 Corvette stuff
well one of the really cool projects here has been for the corvette guys is our new coil over system!!!! Hope you guys like the sneak peek at the newest stuff in the pipeline!!
first we looked at front end geometry and built new arms to increase castor added castor slugs for adjustments, new lower arms to get the coilover angle right and relocate the lower balljoint to center the wheel, then added tall spindles for better camber curve, and fixed the bump steer with some awesome billet steering arms, so now you can get bigger wheels on the stock setup heres most of the current systems parts http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l...psc642222f.jpg close up of the steering arms http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l...ps3a19f27e.jpg the system assembled http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l...ps8fc2b9f0.jpg installed on our shop car http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l...ps5669c608.jpg http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l...ps873b26e0.jpg heres is were we had the most fun!! a redesign of the rear arms! offset for wider wheels, a more ridged ladder structure design and direct fitment of the coilover, new third member cross mount with integrated upper shock mount for with correct shock angle, and adjustable radius rods and new lower mount! offset trailing arms http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l...ps4e2d5cc0.jpg upper mount http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l...ps8e204d9d.jpg upper mount installed http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l...psbdc81c5f.jpg complete rear system!! http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l...ps84d79d84.jpg |
Very nice stuff here! Interested in the front setup for our C2. And that rear crossmember is very cool
Brett said you guys came up with a rear swaybar setup too? |
You are correct. . .the C2/C3 system is the first splined sway bar set up we've developed. We use a 1.25" bar up front and a 1.00" bar in the rear.
In addition to the multiple pick-up points on the arms this will also allow you to easily and quickly change sway bar rates by swapping bars. |
Britt Is it ready yet? I'll have my pickup truck in Nashville. Lol

Thanks Bret and Britt and Rodney.
I'm bringing the Camaro but I hope to have the Vette Going at Columbus. See You tonight or tomorrow. Thanks Mike |
This is just the coolest thing since sliced bread.

Great looking steering arms! Any plans to build a "reversed" set for a possible front steer (rack) application?
