When to mini tub.

I have dse Minnie tubs. My floors and trunk are solid. It was a vinyl roof car so rear panel, window seal are toast. The quarter panels are questionable.

I have not blasted the body. Only fenders and doors, core support, trunk lid ect. So does it make since to blast the body and then mini tub or put in the mini tub first so I can make start mocking rear end. Thanks, brian

If the car is already torn down then blast it and then tub it. Rust hides... So I like a clean slate to work with before I start adding parts and cutting it up.

If your quarters are questionable, the remove them first. Rust typically hides behind the quarters and in the structure of your car. On mine, we removed the quarters first and I had bought new NOS quarters, outer tubs, mini tubs, etc. You could blast it first, then remove the quarters and find more rust. We stripped the car and then removed the rust in those areas. Mini tub was done at the time of replacing the quarters. How to get into the nook. And crevices of the car? Well, the best way is to use some modified air tools I had this small Dotco right angle grinder with 1/4" collet. My friend had other air tools that I used, but that cleaned. the metal the best. If you blast, then it will get stuck in your car. Oh, you need to use plenty of safety equipment, with grinder.
