ECM/TCM Placement

Trying to see where everyone is mounting ECM's and TCM's in 1st gen Camaros. I'm mounting mine under the dash near the glove box but wanted to see what others are doing for mounting in this area. I have the ECM & TCM to mount. Pictures would be great.

That Vintage Air unit takes a lot of real estate up there. Might want to mock that in first. Controllers could be moved around a bit.

Chris,

you didn't mention with gen pcm you are running? (ie gen 3 or 4)

There is a big size difference between the two

I am running a gen 3 "411" pcm and have it monunted w/ GM bracket modified, under my center console (out of a 2013 ZL1 Camaro) in my 68' Camaro

Not sure if your aware of the bracket we sell that makes this a much easier task. In the past on the first gen Camaros we mount the ECU just to the left of the Vintage Air system as seen in the pictures below.

Every single car is built under complete different thought patterns by different builders. So it really is just a matter of what works best for you and the routing of products in your car.
