The Michigan Mile, Standing One Mile Run!!!!

Last was the first year and was a great success. Many found out quickly that it's not easy to get to 200mph in one mile. The event is combined with the Battle Creek Air & Ballon show/festival featuring the Air Force Thunderbirds this year.

Motorcycles are welcome for the ultimate speed freak/thrill seekers. Also, we're allowing drag radials to be used this year for cars.

Come join us for a great weekend! Expected turn out for the entire event/s is +100K people.

Think SW pulled 220 mph in a half mile?

220mph in a half mile is wicked fast! Last year we had a Nissan GTR hit about 211 in the mile. A lady on a motorcycle did 198mph.

The Michigan mile is a unique opportunity to run on a smooth clean surface as the runway is a fully operational airfield. The event is very well organized and fun to attend!

We are allowing drag radials to be used this year which will greatly help the high HP, RWD cars hook up quicker.

I believe SW was running his 2200 hp lambo.

Nuts! Can't believe the running gear can hold up to that!
