Oil pan question

I have a jakes subframe an just figured out my gmpp motor came with a corvette pan ... Anyone have any luck with the new camaro pan?
Part Number: 12640748

not sure on the fitment of the Camaro oil pan
Which pan are you referring to? the earlier 98-02' F-body oil pan
or the new fifth gen Camaro oil pan

If the issue is at the "front" of the sump, the earlier Camaro pan is approx 2" shorter

I may be interested in the vette pan for a future build also

here are some pics with dimensions:

my guess is he was referring to the standard "f-body" oil pan (98-02')
since you can see in the pic that it is only 11 1/2 long in the sump, rather than the 13 1/2" on the Vette pan

The 5th gen Camaro pans are deeper and are as long as the Vette pans

I use the Vette pans on sand rail LS swaps
here is my Desert Dynamics car
( the muddy one, is after it's maiden voyage with the new engine I built and bigger transaxle, so much for a "Dry Lake Bed")

Anyone know if the wind age tray is the same between f body (2002) and corvette

Each oil pan has its own windage tray. They are not compitable....
