'Top Gear at Le Mans Classic' pics

"A mere three weeks after 250,000 people made the pilgrimage to western France for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, it was time for another army of petrolheads to invade. This time 100,000 turned up at the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe track for the sequel: Le Mans Classic."

A friend of mine - Bruce Leven - Still has both of his Porsche 962's and a 935 that he raced (quite successfully). Gotta love the vintage classics! Somehow - to me - they're just cooler than the new cars. Like David Pozzi's classic Lola. They're just beautiful.

Bruce has some "seat time" under his sorry old ass.... Sadly -- his cars and driving don't equate to what I'm driving even though I pick his brain about lines and handling etc whenever we're together.

Dave will be running the car again this year at the Historics...or the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion as it's now called...so if you're attending, stop by and say hi to both the Pozzi's.

Bruce had a Good Team in the late 70's & 80's - he was smart to hang on to his cars.

Brian Johnson from AC/DC also has a Lola that he Vintage Races (his Wife races a Porsche 914-6)

Sorry for the hijack but YouTube "Jim Breuer's AC/DC hokey pokey" song. The dude does a spot on imitation of Brian's singing. Vintage LeMans cars are the best looking cars of all time.

I've seen it - it's spot on. Brian's a very cool car guy to hang out with.
