Something looks off QuickTime help needed

Are people using the engine plate for their QT bbellhousing on. Ls/t56 combo?

Asking because with on OEM starter and an OEM f body pan the block plate seems to interfere with the starter and rubs tight on the pan
And I have starter interference with the bell crap so much for "designed to work with OEM starter"
I hate cutting new parts up to make them work #%^*¥
Should I ditch it?

yep, some trimming necessary....what part number do you have?

Summit Racing Part Number:QTI-RM-8020

Looks like both the engine plate and the bell itself interfere with starter. :waveflag:

I will probably have the same problem, it would be great if you could post a pic of the modification. Thanks

What starter are you running? Is it the snout or mounting block on the starter thats hitting?

I have installed 2 now and they both needed major grinding to fit around the starter. They also required some clearance for the bleeder screw on the slave. Make sure you check that before you get it in the car.
