Need to make a choice Nitto or Mickey

I have two sets of tires on my 18x11 rear wheels. 335/30-18 Nitto 555r and Mickey Thompson 305/35-18.
Nitto is 1" wider and the Mickey is 1/2" taller.
I want a good street tire that will stick. Love to hear feedback on these two tires.

Are you turning corners or just wanting straight line performance?

^^^^ What Dave said? There is a big difference in the intended use of those two tires.

Neither of those is made for cornering. The nitto however DOES have a stiffer sidewall than the MT. If you're making big power and want to plant it the MT is the better tire (stickier). If you're wanting to corner as well I'd consider another tire and realize there will just have to be a compromise in some straight line traction.

There is a night and day difference between the two. I ran both (in 305's) on my 2010 camaro.
-555r are a decent street tire and aren't terrible in the rain until the tread is low. With the power I had I overpowered them until third on the track.
-ET Streets I wouldn't drive on the street. They wear fast, scary in the rain, and you can feel the sidewalls flexing. They are great 1/4 mile tires though. They hooked so well I broke an axle, rear, and trans output shaft. All separate times.
Hope that helps.
