Looking to install a/c on my 69 camaro soon. Whats the best kit to install?
I have a non a/c car that I'm starting to put together and need to find a a/c kit that's reliable, cold and comes complete... and the best place with the best price to buy it at...
Thanks |
Vintage air gen 2 super is a great budget kit .
See Matt's classic bow ties, Chris over at CHC or mike over at muscle rodz. Vendor list at the left. |
Nice thread further down about this if you haven't seen it( vintage vs classic auto air). Check it out it may help you decide.

Vintage Air is the best.

I have vintage air - Gen IV on my 67 Camaro. Vintage air doesn't have a wide selection of vents, but Restomodair has some nice vents. http://www.restomodair.com/ I never tried out the vents, but I like the design of the vents as compared to vintage air.

We have had great luck with the Gen IV kit. very efficient and will get really low vent temps.

I was researching the same thing a couple months ago, after talking to two separate places who installed systems from each company. Im told classic auto air is a better system
