Wheel Spacer's
Looks like I am going to need atleast an 1/8"-1/4" spacer to clear the front calipers on my Nova project. Did a little research but came to no real concensus on the best type/quality of wheel spacers? Not sure if steel or aluminum is the way to go? Any help or info is appreciated

I used the Baer aluminum spacers with great success. I would highly recommend them. Only down side is they are a bit over priced.

For a 1/4" spacer, I would stick with a 6061-T6 aluminum unit for the best strength to weight ratio. For an 1/8" spacer, stainless or plated steel is probably going to be your best bet.

If I were making them, mild steel is certainly cheaper in that thickness range and can be zinc plated (dichromate or galvanized), which would be very close to aluminum with respect to corrosion potentials thereby minimizing the potential for galvanic corrosion.
