ls1 Engine Block Measurements
 
hi,

i was just wondering if anyone knows the measurements for an ls1 engine, or could get some.

i make a quick pic of the measurements that would help me the most

i found one measurement for the length but i dont know if it is correct, i found 25.25".

This is an LS6 block and dimm's are in inches. Also the total front to back from bell housing flange to timing cover surface is 20.437".

you had to post that....now that I have some REAL measurements, I can go back and nit pick my LS7 block for my 1/12th Camaro...who knows. maybe I was dead on???

LOL...even though I used calipers and took it out to three decimals...I wouldn't expect them to be any beter than 1/64th or so to actual print dimmensions :lol:
