Muscle Car Metal

Hey guys. Wanted to see if any of you have any experience or know anything about Muscle Car Metal (see link below). I am trying to find a decent shell to start a build with. Thanks in advance guys!

Well, the fact that they coat in POR-15 worries me. Why not use a reputable epoxy or etch primer? POR-15 needs another topcoat binder to accept base coats. Maybe I'm missing something...

Find a body then send it to the AMD Installation Center. I've sent 2 cars to these guys. They build the body just like GM would, everything is spot welded and assembled on jigs, the body literally looks like a brand new fresh body from GM. They have no problem doing mini tubs and subframe connectors during the rebuild process, heck they even did the mods for the quadra-link on the last one for me.

Thanks for the feedback Mitch. I shot him an email to get more clarification but I would assume that the new body panels he is using are being left in the primer they come from the AMD, Goodmark, etc.

He has been building those shells for many years and I have never read anything negative about his work.

AMD is good stuff, I use it all the time, if you get a car body in edp coating just get it media blasted and then you can sand it real good and put down a nice coat of epoxy, I agree stay away from por-15 !
