Here is my 67 with anvil auto center dash panel. I really like the look vs the original look.

x2. I'm doing a similar layout with a stock looking panel.

The hardest part is installing it. The panel from anvil is completely flat on the back.

Ah, that explains the screws below the AC controls. My repo panel is also flat, but it's pot metal, so can be bent slightly into shape.

That is a shame that you had to use screws through the face of a great looking panel like that!

You would think that for the money you spent on it, it would have a proper way of mounting it and the necessary hardware

That is the main reason I stuck with my stock panel and modified it to work for my application

It is a little disappointing, but they would probably give the standard answer that all cars in the 60's are slightly different and fit can not be perfect. Then they tell you to epoxy mounting hardware on yourself and that it is really easy to do. I used fancy arp stainless steel 12 point bolts and it looks better than I thought it would, also makes it easy to get on and off quickly. In the blank spot I am mounting my iPad mini similar to the goodguys g/rs camaro.
