MCB is now offering RainGear Hidden Motor Windshield Wiper Systems - Holiday Special
MCB is now a direct dealer for RainGear and we are able to offer you guys some great prices on the 67-69 Camaro / Firebird units as well as Chevelle and 55-57 units all the way to trucks, ect.. Applications listed below.
All applications are typically in stock at MCB and RainGear and ship out the SAME or next day so no worries there! To clear up a question a lot of guys have been asking, most muscle car applications will install in the cowl area, where your existing wiper linkage is, other cars with no room in this area like the 55-57 Bel Air will install under the dash. If you follow this link to the install instructions, click your car and you can see where it will install, with pics in most applications: http://www.pacificwesterndesign.com/documents.htm We are offering FREE shipping in the 48 states as well as an extra forum discount on top of that! Please Call, PM or Email for your price and SPECIFY regular 2 speed or 2 speed WITH INTERMITTENT. IF you want a PROVEN USA MADE system that will allow you to COMPLETELY smooth your firewall and not worry about the ugly wiper motor hanging off there this is THE answer! It's also a great choice for those doing a build that are missing the stock wiper transmission parts and/or motor.. All applications use the stock Arms/Blades and are available in the regular 2 speed system or with an intermittent/Delay option CARS: 53 - 54 Chevy 55 - 57 Chevy 53 - 62 Corvette 67 - 69 Camaro / Firebird (NEW) 68 - 74 Nova / X - Body 64 - 67 Chevelle / A-Body TRUCKS: 47 - 54 Chevy / GMC 55 - 59 Chevy / GMC 48 - 52 F-1 Ford 53 - 55 F-100 Ford 56 F-100 Ford The RainGear wiper system is a rugged, time tested and proven, lever and link windshield wiper system. It is specifically designed to completely replace the original factory wiper system. Because RainGear systems fits entirely under the dash, you can remove the old firewall mounted motor entirely. This will free up engine compartment room for that big block motor or give more clearance for an HEI distributor. Or you can leave the old wiper motor in for authenticity. The exterior uses the original arms, blades and trim. Both the standard and intermittent switches can use the original knob and information bezel, again retaining perfect authenticity. In fact, no one will know you have the RainGear system installed, except that when it rains others will be struggling to see out their windshield while you will clearly see the road ahead. Specifications: 12 volt, 5 amp, 2 speed electric motor. Heavy duty brackets, links and wiper towers. Weather-sealed electrical parts. No drilling! Uses stock mounting points. Uses original arms, blades, trim, knob and bezel. Optional intermittent switch. Optional washer unit. Fully guaranteed. Includes comprehensive, illustrated installation instructions. Made in the USA with top quality materials. Example pics of a few systems: Install is very straight forward and requires no special skills at all and can be done in just an afternoon! 67-69 Camaro - Firebird System http://www.pro-touring.com/attachmen...d=103523&stc=1 64-67 A - Body Kit http://www.pro-touring.com/attachmen...d=103522&stc=1 |
Is there any information if they will be doing these for 67-72 Chevy truck and or 2nd Gen Camaro.
How many speeds are the intermittent switch? |

The intermittent is a delay, I am not sure exactly how long the delay is, I can find out if you want. Thanks Matt |
Response on these systems has been amazing. I was actually surprised at how many out there didn't know about these systems!
The kits include the small block-off plate for your stock wiper motor mounting hole if you are not ready / going to fully smooth your firewall, this is STILL a great upgrade compared to the stock, ugly, expensive motor that will NEVER look "good" or even descent, no matter what you do to it :disgusted: Order up a RainGear kit and never look at that stupid thing again! :ups: Thank you very much for the orders and happy FRIDAY! Guys, this is a fantastic product. I have just recently installed my Raingear system and love it. It's dead quiet and the parts and pieces are top quality. It comes with both transmissions and new linkages wrapped in teflon. Unlike competitive products where the new motor is bolted to your old linkages and swivels, this system is a complete package from soup to nuts.
Also, I had a company called CMC Manufacturing in Redding, CA make me a billet firewall plate to close off the large hole. The Raingear kit comes with an 18 gauge plate, but I wanted something more substanial and trick. He can make you one for a reasonable price. He's at 530-209-4442 ask for John. |

REMINDER:
The introductory price sale ends in 3 days, this Friday, October 31st! Many kits have sold, some have been installed already with very good feedback! If you look at what you get for the money and what the finished product does for the look and clearance, why would you spend as much on a motor to mount on the firewall?? IMO this is a MUST have for a smooth firewall car and a VERY nice upgrade even for a stock firewall, wiper motors are ugly... With this system, it is completely hidden in the cowl area! Thank you all very much for the purchases so far, once the intro sale is over we will continue to offer them at your regular forum member discount price! MCB |
