Remember the good old times when cars needed two keys?
 

I've been making a few shirts on Teespring to help pay for my project. I'm not totally sure if I'm aloud to post them here.. This is my newest design. What you think? ;)

I don't think I will ever learn to like starting a car with no key. Thankfully I can't afford anything new enough to be in that position.

My buddy just picked up a 2014 Dodge Truck, he was showing me the button and it wouldn't shut off the engine until he realized it was not in park. Are you f'in kidding me ? The engine wont' shut off ? First thing I'd put in is a real kill switch !

I think it's a good design, Kevin.

As for push button ignition cars, always try to hold the button down if you're trying to shut the engine off for an emergency. It may not work on all cars but it's better than just pressing once. This also happens to be a reason I do not like push button ignition.

Makes me miss the days of my first few Chevy trucks. Then again, I haven't used a key to unlock a door on my vehicles for years. I might not even remember how to do that now...

I love push button cars. I love the convienence of never having to use keys. I'm putting "push start" in my Chevelle....no questions. I own 2 newer model cars with push button start. Once I get out of the car, I push the button on the handle to lock it. To unlock the car, all I do is grab the handle and it unlocks. Can't beat it with a stick. Yeah, yeah, I know...what did we do before push button start was invented. But, that's a different story. That's just like what did we do before cell phones were invented.
