Want to move fuel filler to rear panel of 69 camaro.
I am thinking about moving the fuel tank filler neck from under license plate on 69 Camaro up to the rear panel, I will have to cut filler neck and obviously reroute that setup. I am just curious if anyone has any positive or negative feedback on this. I have seen some pretty sweet billet fuel doors. Just looking for some info before I go do something I shouldn't.

Filler
Yup ... fairly easy
I used the Ridetech filler with the neck http://www.ridetech.com/store/1967-6...-anodized.html Combined with a 68' gas tank, alterations to the trunk floor, wiped out the trunk lock and went with an electric popper ... http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...psa629cbea.jpg |

Another option is our Universal filler neck.....
This the complete kit for the 67/68 Camaro,,,, http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps51120f9d.jpg Our large diameter universal on a 69 Camaro... http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps788d7f21.jpg The "kit" installed on 67 Camaro..... http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...psf1a90a69.jpg Shown here is the 2 different sizes.... http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps4bece89d.jpg shown here with anodized black with the optional mounting ring (although would be too big for a Camaro tailight panel),,,,, http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/a...psa93c2cc1.jpg |
