Christmas is coming
Can anyone recommend an 18 or 24 volt impact gun?
|
What size are you looking for? 3/8's or 1/2"?
|
Take a look at Milwaukee Fuel Series. They have 3/8" 1/2" & 3/4" Drive

I've been extremely happy with my Matco 1/2" I've yet to find anything around my house that has even challenged it.

Snap-On had a show special at GoodGuys Scottsdale event so I bought their 1/2" 18V Lithium electric for the hauler. Just for fun I torqued the nuts on the trailer... It took two hands to hold the gun! This thing is a twisting machine!

Home Depot is also having a $150 off the fuel combo kit for impact and drill. Picked up both boxes for $800 shipped direct. 4x 4.0 EC batteries, 1 high torque 1/2 impact, 1 impact driver, 1 drill motor, all brushless. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee...7-22/203639295 http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee...3-22/204410433 |
The guys at the street races used to bring those out, they could use those and do a wheel tire change in no time. They are very impressive, hey Greg how do you like your snap on unit? I think I may need to pick one, I can't let Greg weld be the cool kid of the block all the time.

Will this be your only impact?
If the answer is yes, then spend the money for the snap on or milwaukee. If this is just to take to the track, I have a craftsman C3 nicad battery unit that has worked well and is ridiculously cheap by comparison. I get 3 all wheels on/off out of a battery charge with that, at this point that serves my needs. |
