Speedtech LS swap kit

Looking for feedback on the Speedtech LS swap kit with tru turn. let me know your thoughts. I did not want to run a console so the trans tunnel mod might be an issue. PM's work also. Thank you

What Car?
First Gen or Nova.
the first gen tunnel mod is only 2.5" tall at the back where the shifter is. we have used sheetmetal to "extend" the tunnel cover back between the seat so the carpet flows nicely and with out a console you cant even tell it has been modified. once it is all covered.

Ls swap kit

I just used this kit on my 66 Chevelle. I love the oil pan and remote filter offered with it. Holds 7 quarts of oil and the pan is fully baffled. The headers are beautiful and everything has a 1/8" to a 1/4" of clearance around everything.

I've been on the fence with this kit as well. Where is the optimal position for the remote oil filter on a 1st gen f body? With notching the frame, is there enough clearance for a low mount ac compressor on the 2010 F body accesories drive? Does anyone have a pic of the firewall clearance?

What kind of options does it give you for front tire fitment? I like to get 275/17s under the front of my 67 GTO.

What is the lowest point under the car, headers or oil pan?

but damn do you every pay for it! All of there stuff is super nice, but very expensive! I wanted their kits for my conversion but it just wasn't worth the extra money

I'm running a super simple system my engine builder designed and I'm switching to the wegner setup and a whipple. Mine was the first kit used in the 64-67 a-body and jay at speedtech helped me so much I would of payed double. Lol. The customer service was amazing and the fitment was great. The headers are the lowest point but not much lower than the front crossmember.
