VaporWorks Suppose to have Baffles?

My Rick's Vaporworks tank doesn't have baffles as compared to my non vaporworks tank. Is this how its supposed to be?

I'm not sure but where did you purchase it? Is their a possibility of it being a counterfeit part?

I haven't seen the inside of one, but if it uses the gen 5 Camaro pump assembly I think its a baffle in and of itself. That coupled with the 2 remote pickups in each corner is likely all that is needed. All of the factory GM tanks I have seen on the inside don't have a baffle. This is purely me speculating, but I'm sure you should have an answer from someone in the know here on the forum shortly.

This is what I was thinking too but I googled images of the Vaporworx tank and it shows two baffles...

I'm pretty sure Mine doesn't either. I noticed the same thing when I was installing my pumps.

I'm sure Carl will chime in here in a bit.

It's a legit tank, I bought it from MCB and was drop shipped.

Gents,

No baffling is needed for the VaporWorx fuel module design. There will be bulkheads where the tank straps surround the body shell.

With the module and corner pickup arrangement the tank will be truly empty when it's out of fuel. Several members have run out fuel on-track due to the tank running dry. The setup is so effective that many folks simply forget about the fuel system.

Mine doesn't even have those. Its a complete open tank with the little tabs on the inside for the pick-ups

Here is a pic:

Maybe the tank has been cost reduced...
