Bend-tech pro

Hey guys,

Not sure if this the best place for this but, I'm looking at buying the bend-tech pro computer program to help take some of the guess work out of tube work. It looks really easy to use and I think it could be useful. Does anyone here have any experience with this program?

Thanks
Kody

I have it and it is a real time saver. Not to mention DOM saver. Get yourself a quality magnetic protractor too.

Vince - good to know! On my fastback I plan on using chromoly so I'm trying to take every extra step I can to not waste any material. Plus I'm a visual learner so being able to actually see something helps.

JD - I actually saw that sale this morning when surfing the web and its a great deal. But I'm leaning towards their new 7X program.

Does anybody know anything about exporting BT files to solidworks? I see the 7X is capable but idk how far you can take things once it's to solidworks.

I used this method for bending some of my cage. Works well but you are not going to export it to solidworks.

I have it as well and it was dead on when I build my chassis and saved a ton of time and material. Invest in a rotation gauge as well. I have the 6x version but want to upgrade to the 7x plus add the exhaust module for designing systems for work.
