DSE Frame PS Hoses

Not sure if this is the right area, but wondering what you all are using for PS hoses with a DSE frame and stock F-body LS PS pump.

The return line you can make with normal AN fittings, the high pressure side needs to be made with crimp fittings or the DSE line kit capable of with standing over 1,000 psi. When I was using a stock pump/reservoir I cut the plastic elbow off of the tank and drilled and tapped it for 1/4" npt so I could screw a 1/4 to -6 fitting into it and then made my own AN return line from the cooler to the tank.

I had a couple -6 Parker hydraulic hoses made up by the local John Deere dealer. I purchased the hose and the ends I needed then installed them in the car to orient the ends as needed. Once I had the ends where they needed to be I took them back and they crimped the ends on.

Are you saying the the stock tank will hold 1/4" npt fitting?

I have found installing the hoses and fitting extremely difficult in r&p end. Something what DSE did not think to end.

Yes, but you have to cut the plastic elbow off of the tank, then drill and tap the tank.
