68 firebird - seats for bigger guys

Im 6'1 245lbs, pretty broad shoulders, 36size waist. Id really like to go with the Procar Rally seats, but I've read they aren't really meant for guys my size. What are some alternative seats for us bigger guys? Id like to get something that I can semi match with the rear seats, not have completely different looking seats. What are some options?

Have you looked at the TMI seats? http://www.tmiproducts.com/chevy/bro...ort-seats.html

you might have to look at some OEM seats to fit you, Most of the aftermarket seats are tight, I'm 5'10 at 200 and im a tight fit

The Procar Rally's will be a bit tight for you, you're right. My dad fits ok in his, he's 6'0 190lb with 34 or 36 waist.

Recaro has some nice options for the wider folks, you can check out our Recaro thread here: https://lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=48373

I understand they're a little more expensive than others but they are German-made & nice quality.
Otherwise some Mercedes, BMW, Audi seats are alright too & you can adapt to your car.

I've sat in a ton of seats when I go to shows and they have the manufacture booths set up. No way would I invest in seats that I hadn't actually sat in - they're all so different.

The problem with that option is that there are no upcoming car shows in Portland that I know of to go sit in seats to test fit my big ass shoulders, so that's not really option.

has anybody used Corbeau LG1 seats? What are your thoughts?

I just got my chassisworks cage in yesterday and Id like to get my seats mounted and in places before I weld my back bar in place so that I have the proper height... Which means I need to find some seats asap.

I am not sure if you're looking for padded "Track Car" seats or not. If you are this Sparco seat is made for bigger guys. Go Here

Hey Ron, how do these compare for a "wider" seat?
