MAP sensor

I have a ACdelco 12591290 map sensor and I have googled it with no luck, I need to know the bar rating, I think it is 3 bar, but I need to make sure.

It's listed as being for Corvettes so that tells me it is 3 bar from -1 to +2. I couldn't find a spec sheet explicitly stated that for the part however.

Greg,

That is a 1bar sensor.

If the engine in naturally aspirated the MAP sensor wiring we discussed will work fine.

If the engine is supercharged then using a manifold referenced fuel pressure will not work with the current arrangement. The 1bar sensor will stop/run out of range once the engine reaches 0psi ATM (14.7psi/1bar absolute.) Changing to an LSA 3bar sensor and re-tuning the ECM accordingly would be the best option.

Thanks guys,

Carl, it's naturally aspirated, so it will work.

Cheers
