DSE 1969 Camaro JRI Shocks
Hi Guys, We installed the DSE coilover stuff in a 69 camaro a while back. Where is a good starting point on the jri coilovers? If I set the springs 2" from the bottom like the instructions say, they are loose on the shocks.... Is this right? Easier to ask than to mess with it for hours cause it's way off... LOL Thanks in advance!!

Yeah, I was 10 minutes late yesterday and of course they are closed today.... I'll call again in the morn. Just hoping someone had some good input to get something done today.... Thanks!

BTW.... Yes, they have been EXTREMELY helpful in the past...

Set the adjusters so the shock is centered in it's travel. If it has 4 inches of travel, then it should be set with 2 inches of travel left.

Is the car at full weight now? How far off from ride height is it now? Adjust the screw up till the spring is tight. Lower the car and meaure how far the spring was compressed. |
