'64 Galaxie Country Sedan
I'll to get some more detailed pictures to post of the interior.
390 4 barrel, 3 speed auto (cruiso-matic) w/ factory AC Interior: new seat inserts, headliner board. many parts are repainted good carpet Engine: We pulled the intake and pan off the motor to fix an oil leak and it looked really good. It appears to have been rebuilt at some point in time, but I can't verify how long ago. new intake gaskets a new water pump new fan clutch had the radiator cleaned rebuilt the carb, etc. Manifolds machined true w/ new gaskets fresh painted engine New exhaust (IMCO mufflers - sound like 2 chamber Flowmaster) AC system fully charged with R12 (this was expensive!) Other Stuff: DC enterprises front spindles and disk brake setup w/ an adjustable proportioning valve. http://www.dropnstop.com/ Eaton lowering springs 1" lowering blocks in the rear 15X6, 15X8 TT2's w/ brand new BFG Touring 205/70's, 235/70's Body: All of the body and paint work were done by myself and my dad (who has ran a body shop for 35yrs.) It was painted in Chroma-One Sky View Blue (original Color) and the roof is Wimbledon White. All of the primers (Vari-Prime and Uro-Prime) as well as the paint is Dupont. We polished up all of the stainless trim and I'd give it a 7.5/10 (10 = brand new) The door handles aren't in great shape 5/10 Fender top emblems 5/10 OK - I'll wrap it up! I drove it to Inianapolis for the Goodguys show and put about 350 miles on it total. The motor ran great, no oil leaks or consumption. The transmission shifts great. It runs 75mph down the interstate without a problem. It turned over 100,000mi on the way back from Indy $15,000 obo Email questions to: [email protected] |

Nashville Goodguys
Dad and some of his buddies will be cruising the wagon at Nashville Goodguys in case anyone would like to take a look at it in person and/or take it home with them.

Nashville and Back!
Well, the Wagon went to Nashville Goodguys and came back home. I just thought I'd let anyone that may possibly be interested that it made it Nashville and back (from Indiana) at a pretty healthy rate of speed and had no problems what so ever. The AC worked great too!
Had a couple of interested people, but no sale. If we've still got it, I'll be cruisin' to Columbus Goodguys! Later, Brandon |
