U-bolt or strap

1 Attachment(s)
I got a 12 bolt a few months ago and finally about to get a new drive shaft for my camaro. Now with this yoke do I use my old u bolts or straps? Notice how only one hole is threaded. Thank you:ups:

somebody miffed that one up and drilled the other hole...... since you are gonna get a new shaft anyways swap that yoke out for a 1350 version.

So you are saying he drilled out the other three threaded holes, could I just go ahead and dill out the last then use the u bolts you showed?

That looks like the smaller 1310 u joint yoke. I'd go larger 1350 since you haven't ordered your driveshaft yet.

I would be concerned that if the yoke was designed for a bolt to thread into it, that if you drilled it out and tried to use a u-bolt that the u-bolts nuts wouldn't have a flat surface to rest on. Most bolt style yokes on the backside are just uneven casting. I'm with Vince on an upgrade
