OUSCI - spectator view and changes

Hey all. Curious for those that went last year to spectate. Now that it is split into two days, if you could only go one day which day would you go?

Also, how do you compare the new venue to the old one? We've gone to the previous track in Parumph three times and always really enjoyed it, even the crazy drive through the desert lol. Always able to get good views of the action and to walk the pits and look at cars, and more importantly talk to a lot of great folks.

Over drinks this weekend we started making plans for this year. Need something to think about besides all this snow and cold. :D

LVMS is much more spectator friendly in my opinion.

........if it's the same time as the Red Bull Airshow you can't go wrong! :thumbups:

^what he said. You can still get plenty close to the action. The airshow was a bonus. I found myself waiting in lines for a run watching the action.

Thanks, I forgot about that airshow. Do I have this right, they run auto-x and speed/stop on Saturday and open track on Sunday?

I love road racing so for me Sunday is my favorite. With that said... The way LVMS is set up you can actually get in-between the speed stop and autocross courses, and watch both from the same area. You'll have a ball either day.

In my opinion Jimi and the gang at USCA hit a home run with this new venue. Much nicer setup, better food, much better for spectators, just a win-win all the way around.

Back to planning! I know where I'll be on Wednesday night that week!
