Lokar Trans dipstick

Hi I need a dipstick for my 4l85 in my Camaro. Have any of you used one of these Lokar transmission dipsticks, or heard anything good or bad about them or which is a better fit, firewall or trans mounted? I know it my choice but opinions are appreciated. Are they accurate with a stock pan?

Thanks for your help!

You don't want a trans mount, they are hard to get at and fill usually, the firewall mount doesn't really work out well in a musclecar. We usually shorten them and mount them to the head like a stock one would be. They have always been accurate.

I prefer the Lokar anchor tite one over their standard dipsticks no listing for the 4L80/5.

My go to trans dipstick is always the stock one first. Easy to fill, easy to read, easy to shorten, and easy to mount.

The main draw back with them is they use a small tube for filling and it takes forever.

God to know.

Thanks

Lokar Fill tube dip stick

I have one and love it. Locks into place like a air hose, looks good. No complaints.
