68 Camaro center link

Does anyone know if there is a USA made 68 camaro centerlink option? All of the ones I have found are not made in this country.
Thanks
Paul

I have a couple of original ones if you might be interested in those. They are in great shape, just need cleaned up. One is from a 74 nova subframe (I used when I changed mine out (and used the tru-turn setup) and the other is from my old 68 subframe. PM me if interested.

Also look at
Olds Omega 73-74
Buick Apollo 73-74
Pontiac Ventura II 71-74
Nova 68-74
Camaro/Firebird 67-69. except 69 Firebird

They all used the same subframe as a first gen Camaro.

Thank you very much, are there different thicknesses for these bars?

There can be, generally later X body cars had the thicker centerlinks. Early Camaros SS396 had thick, air conditioned cars had thick one.....Look for a nice X body in a Nevada or Arizona wrecking yard. Tell them your looking for one for a 72-74 Olds Omega, Buick Apollo, Pontiac Ventura....AVOID the CAMARO TAX!

The later center links are often thicker. The last ones available from GM were the thick version but I suspect the material is softer. I did some grinding on one of the thick center links and it sure felt soft. I was less enthused about looking for a thick one to use after that.
