instrument/dash lights now working

Im having an issue with the gague/dash lights not working, im in the process of wiring my car with a painless wiring harness, im doing pretty good so far, im not an expert at all, but ive gotten the car started, headlights working, tailights working, wired the turn and ignition switch connectors, so im doing pretty good. I tryed google but couldnt find anything on it and i called painless tech they told me to try something but still didnt work, Im at a standstill here with the instrument panel wiring, the #930 (brn) wire, Im not getting power from it. First of all it says its a brown wire but its grey on my harness (that probably doesnt matter right?) If anyone has any sugestions please let me know, I have the headlight switch grounded, everything works and turns on when i pull the headlight switch (park lights, headlights taillights) everything but that #930 wire...also i got the dome light working somewhat, meaning it turns on when doors open and turn off when doors are closed, but doesnt turn on when i rotate the headlight switch all the way around, maybe this issue is connected with why the #930 wire isnt working? I used my original headlight switch, and now have a painless headlight switch, doesnt work either way, any input is appreciated. thanks

What did it turn out to be?

Dont even wanna say it lol, it was a blown fuse, the horn fuse to be exact, but i had no idea the horn fuse controlled the dash lights.. this is a universal muscle car harness, oh well, should i install a 4 amp fuse on this wire to protect it? i was not touching anything else till i solved this, now i can move on to wiring the rest of the car :)
