Camarillo Airport Autocross (4/19/15) Photos

Here are some photos I took at the Camarillo autocross this past Sunday. You can view the full album here.

Darren’s Z06 looked great for its autocross debut.

Little wheels, big thrills. I was delighted to see this cool vintage Mini.

This was my first time out in Camarillo and I had a lot of fun taking these photos. This event brings together three of the life's great indulgences...cars, airplanes, and tacos.
I look forward to next time!

Great shots!

Looks like the Rozelle Camaro is almost lifting the inside front tire in one of those shots.

Yep Chad we actually zoomed in on that shot and it was indeed an inch or so off the ground. We have had that issue before and even though it looks cool we spent the rest of the day dialing it out as our car is not working best when its doing that.

Every time we change something in our setup it usually takes a day to fix whatever new quirks pop up, in this case it was a sway bar change that caused it.

Here's another pic of it doing it just after SEMA:

Camarillo

Jake can't you just hang your leg out the window
a little and give it some body english:)
Not as easy as a Motorcycle although they can have
issues too....
The first set of shocks and springs I bought from a Pantera
vendor who actually raced with that set up were so soft
I was hitting halfshafts on the body and pulling the front wheel
fairly high coming out of the corners.. scrap pile for them

I need to come down to Camarillo some time and dial
things in with you guys... good luck this weekend.. give them hell

Bob

I agree it looks cool but it made me wonder if it isn't the fastest way around a corner. Its awesome how you guys are able to tweak on that car to find a little more here and there. See you this weekend.
