How are their LS Swap intake set ups? |
Quote:
I'm using the same set up on the LS3/525 car I'm building now. I spoke with a Guy at Spectre this week. The kits are being redesigned and not available at this time. The only part of the redesign is the heat shield which I'm not using so he gave me the part #s I needed to put it all together. Best pricing for the individual part I found was via Amazon. Last year I did an LS3/480 69 Camaro and used Airaid LS Swap intake. It also worked out nicely and Airaid was great to work with. Their system comes with an Air Box and close out panel. We called Airaid and they sent us a matching panel for the pass side. I had moved the battery to the trunk and installed the GM Performance fuse box in the battery tray for easy access. The close out panel hides everything but still allows easy access. |
Vage$69 any pictures of these installed in the cars?

I'll try to find a pic. http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m...psd3c17af6.jpg Matching pass side cover http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m...ps1a295719.jpg |
I have one on my 71 Ls3. The heat shield didn't fit but it's because of the way I have my overflow and radiator set up. Otherwise, it's well made. You have to weld in the MAF mount on your own.
