January Give-Away contest
 

Back in January 2006 we had the Barrett-Jackson giveaway contest. I was one of the 3 winners who was suppost to recieve a 4 link suspension from one of our Lateral-g members (I won't mention his name). He was going to build and send the 4 link to the three winners.

I haven't recieved a darn thing! I have been waiting since the Scottsdale BJ auction. After numerous e-mails he gave me the run around about how he would ship it out next week, or the next week, or in two weeks. We have exchanged e-mails, but now he doesn't even respond to my PM's or e-mails. Class act guy. He still logs on to this site from time to time but always seems to never respond.

I have a serious problem with guys who don't stand behind to the words they speak. A man is only as good as his word. I don't need the 4 link now and my plans now are to offer it to someone on this website for free or anyone who had a need for this set-up. This guy should not be allowed to be a member here. If there is some problem to why he can't send it, I understand, but let me know with a quick e-mail. I can understand life problems, but the dude is obviously still logging on and isn't too busy to check the forum.

That crap man ...I hate it when people say crap and then dont do it.....Does he post alot at all?

On a different subject, i'd be happy to use the 4-link if you ever get it ;) :D

I don't like to be part of bashing, but I know Andrew is an honest person. So I found this. I don't know who the other winners are though to find out how they ended up.

This kinda reminds me of the stories I hear about how guys leave their cars with the body shop, engine shop, (Insert your nightmare repair experience here) and then have to go take it back unfinished and way off schedule.

A few things my Dad taught me, Look others in the eye when you talk to them, shake hands with a firm handshake, always keep your word. Its amazing how many people dont follow those simple things and I make it a policy not to do business with those who cant follow the first two. . . chances are they wont keep their word either.
