Do these rear framerails look right? PLEASE HELP
So I was under my car with my ridetech 4 link bar for a first time fit and it does not look like there is enough width. I had the metal work and mini tubs professionally done. Does this look correct?
I am a little concerned http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a5...D550/ry%3D400/ http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a5...D550/ry%3D400/ http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a5...D550/ry%3D400/ http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a5...D550/ry%3D400/ |
The frame gets notched and it does get pretty narrow toward the back. Yours does look a bit thinner at the narrowest section than both of my first gens do, but not by much. You'll have to grind the tab of the ridetech bracket where it hangs over that narrow section. I dont think its too much to be worried about, but guys that install them for a living will surely see this and advise you.

On the ridetech 4 bar the mounting bracket is farther forward of the notch. You do have to angle cut the rear fold. You should be ok.
