Steering wheel recommendation

What are you guys using? My interior is pretty race inspired and I'm bigger so worried about a larger wheel having issues with my leg movement.

Right now I'm looking at the Momo Race wheel. It's offered in 320mm and 350mm. DSE sells a wheel that is basically 320mm as their option for wheels (12.9"). Either way I go it'll have a removable setup from NRG.

Thanks
William

Check out Driven steering wheels.

12.9 is pretty small. I put 14" moto lita in my Camaro and that seems a tad small also. I think my next move will be to 15" but with a lot of dish to get it further away from the colum/more reach
For what it's worth both pozzi and steilow use 15"s
Side note :
If the original giant wheel hits your legs like mine did(I'm 6'1) then buy a seat instead of a wheel. I bought some used recaro se off CL and with wedge brackets they probly slide back 6 more inches than stock and I sit way lower.

They really didn't have anything I liked other than the one sold through DSE and that's only a 13".

I am getting seats as well. They will mount lower. I may go with the 14" version (350mm) for the sake of it being easier to sell I bet if I don't end up liking it! I found some seats I like and looking at wedge brackets also.

Thanks guys.

I'm running a Momo 320mm wheel with the NRG Gen 2.5 SRK-250BK quick release and their SRK-170H Short Hub.

The column housing to wheel mounting surface is 4-1/8" with the quick release and short hub. Beware: Their standard hub puts the wheel in your face!

I've had the 320mm wheel over 20 years and really like it, but I wouldn't go any smaller. FWIW I'm also running 12.7:1 ratio steering box.

Another thing to note is the NRG setup eliminates the typical 'crush hub' wheel adapter so you're compromising safety and should run a shoulder belt at a minimum.

My car came with a 330mm Sparco and it was just weird small. I didn't realize how weird it felt til I tried a 350mm. Big difference. Swapped out to the 350mm and it's pretty much perfect. For me.

Have any pics? How is the position compared to stock?

I'm definitely doing that same short hub. Not even sure they sell a diff one anymore. Want the gen 2.8 but was considering the slim for space.

Yea fair enough. I think you and the guys at gap have convinced me to go 350 instead of 320.
