Coil spring pocket Mod
 

Hi, I am getting ready to cut the coil spring pockets per the RIDETECH instructions to give my new coilovers complete shock travel. Is it ok to cut all the way to the end like pictured below. Just want to make sure before I cut haha

yes its fine to cut the opening larger like that

yes you want to cut that half moon out

I used a plasma to rough cut first and the trial fit

cut it as flush as possible ...to shallow and it will interfere with the cap and spring

cut it large so there will not be any interference

it will also look good from above with the opening enlarged ...here was mine on the final trial fit
