Take Two
After returning to Australia from an overseas posting that saw me offload my 69 Camaro, I decided it was time for a new toy to fill the hole in the shed. A frustrating search ensued until Facebook provided a lead on this 67. The previous owner needed to move on and free up some funds. The car was fresh out of paint and partially reassembled. She runs a fresh rebuild 383 and Muncie 4 speed. Along with a good price he threw in all of the replacement parts and chrome trim including all new window trim and quarter windows, to get the car back on the road. I have redone the interior, new insulating mat, underlay and carpet. A new instrument cluster with auto meter gauges finishes off the interior for now. I would like to change out the wheels for something a little more modern after the car has a roadworthy and a few miles under her.

Wow...simple, clean and smooth. Love that blue and the work looks top notch. Hide the battery cables and I'd say that car is perfect.
Well done!!  |

A pillar chrome
Does anyone have a tip for installing the A pillar chrome strip. It seems the straight piece of trim is not that happy going onto a compound curve easily. I am trying to get it on by hand rather than use any tools that may damage the trim or worse still damage the paint. Maybe that was why the last bloke left it off......
