iforged vs ZE forged vs intro
2 Attachment(s)
Has anyone had any experience with ze forged(sold under bose alloys)? I realize iforge and intro are of good quality. Are ZE forged of the same quality? I'm trying to decide between the three. I have a 67 fastback and plan to run 18x8 and 18x12's. The Intro phantom's look good in the picture, but do not know if they would look good on my car. I am leaning toward the ZE wheel. I did not realize selecting a wheel would be so difficult. What wheel would you choose? Thanks guys

I had a set of Intros and they weren't bad, but before spending any $$ check out www.ccwheel.com

ze wheels
I figured you guys would have more opinions that this.

Intros are nice and not too pricey. I like Budnik and Boyd Coddington as well.
Another brand if you have the money would be HRE. They are in my opinion the best out there, but are very expensive. Anything billet is great. I have a set of Boyd Junk Yard dog (18x8, 18x10) on my 73 camaro and love them. |
i don't know anything about em i like em

I second ccw (ccwheel.com) The first wheel you like is close to there 505a wheel which is what I had in mind. Goodluck

wheel choice
I would love to go with HRE 542's, but a little out of my price range. Since this is going to be close to my daily driver, trying to stay on some sort of a budget while doing most stuff myself. I think I am going to go with the ZE forged wheel. At least you guys didn't hate them. Thanks for the replies.

I think that is a good choice. The Mesh isn't a bad looking wheel either.

I am no expert but I think intro makes the i forged wheels and both are awesome wheels. Those ze boost wheels you posted are sick lookin man, i say get them and don't look back. What size are you gonna run?

Thinking of going 18x8 and 18x12. I plan on going to the Goodguys show in Columbus this weekend. If I do not see anything better, I think I will order when I return. What's killing me though is whether or not to go the cheap route on wheels and brakes. I mean I can get cobra pbr calipers and drilled/slotted rotors along with black FR500 wheels and end up saving around 3k. The brakes would be the same as the baer kit I was pricing just with a different name. Of course I would only have 18x10 with 315 tire vs 18x12 with 345. So, a little more money I get a forged wheel, more traction, and brakes that say baer on them instead of cobra(not a big deal). These are the FR500 that could save me some money, courtesy of BigMac. If I get these, probably keep the car black. Really not a good comparison, but what do you guys think?
