My home built 1970 lemans build...
Sorry for the dumb thread description. I can not figure out how to change it. Any help would be nice.
About the car: I bought this car 3 years ago with the intentions of doing someting with it. Long story short things havent gone as planned. now that I have a house with a garage things will be moving along. The car is a michigan car with rust. car does not run. Car has a column shifter and floor shifter, this may have someting to do with it not running. lol a little about me: I'm 35 and a bricklayer in the metro detroit area. This is my first car I have built/restored. My plan is to do as much of the work myself as possible. Plan for the build: ls2/t56 combo sc&c touring-plus suspension package chevelle 12 bolt wheels(undecided) |
Great to see another classic Pontiac. An excellent candidate. Enjoy the journey. If you need anything for it in regards to OEM components be sure to check out amesperf/max performance.com it is the old Performance Years.com web site. Ames Performance now owns Performance Years but the forum over there will be a great resource of information for you. Make sure you get the Ames parts catalog for your project, excellent products. You can make this a very good looking car!
I'm somewhat biased as my Mom had a '69 Lemans that could have been considered my real drivers ed car. :D Dukes of Hazzard had no influence.....honest. :underchair: Your tires are quite the oxymoron too. :D |
71 Lemans?
