Wheels Vintque --- under hot rod wheels - second page -- "12 Series Smoothies"

Look at the 14 series "Gennie Wheel" as well. They're similar to what Ford used in the 40's and what looks to be on that little roadster.

Think they are 15"?

Try contacting Coker Tire here in Chattanooga. That whole tire and wheel package probably came from them. They have all the old molds for tires and some of their wheels are made in house.

Period correct would be 16", hard to say what's on this car...looks right to me so I'm assuming 16's. 16x4" were standard on cars and the trucks had 5" on the width.

Let's see what you're thinking about putting them on....

That car is darn near identical to fellow member John's car (buickfunnycar.com). Only a couple subtle differences (at least that i could spot).

Might ask him what he's got on his (or had, he just changed em). He's a wheel nut. hahaha

:)
