Restored Classic Bodies (KC, MO)
Anyone have any experience with this company or there work? I took a gamble on buying what i thought was a decent car and after blasting it and getting an estimate from a body shop, it looks like i lost my ass on that gamble. Now I am looking at purchasing a finished rolling body from Restored Classic Bodies out of kansas city. (http://www.restoredclassicbodies.com Thanks in advance for any input.

I live in KC and have been in and around the classic muscle car scene for 20 years...and I've never heard of them before.
I'll ask around a bit and see what I can find out. |
Used to be known as Mizfit and they used to be on this site years ago. Do not know why the name change.
|
I'd be interested to hear about these guys as well.

The link posted in the top post doesn't work for me. I found this one. Apparently Mizfit is now the parent company, and only did engines. RCB does it all. Check it out...

So far, I haven't found anyone that knows anything about them...still asking around though.

They have a video of their process on the web site. Sounds like you could have them refurbish your body.
On their about page I like the fact that three of the techs are WyoTech graduates and one from Salina Tech which I also know is a good school. |
Yeah. website looks great. But no answer to emails or phone. Facebook page last entry was 2013. Just wondering if they are even in operation anymore?

I still haven't found anyone local that knows anything about them...
