It could have been worse! If his motor blew - he'd be on his own dime! But I wonder if his insurance wouldn't be fixing this type of damage??

wouldn't be shocked if the tire was patched before which also slightly lowers the speed rating. Theres a reason why we have speed ratings and places like the texas mile won't allow you to run with tires that have been repaired

Why would the dumbass be running to 150 in 6th gear on a dyno?

Was a bad idea from the get go and he's lucky it didn't turn out way worse

I always cringe when I see a group of by standers hanging around the back of a car while being run.

Yeah, some people wanna see their car run through all gears and at top speed.
