TMI Interiors? feedback
I have been looking at TMI interior and am wondering what the overall thoughts are on quality? I am in the middle of wyo and the closest good custom upholstery shop quoted me 12 to 15g to do the interior with leather. This is just a number I received when I called the guy on the phone. I am curious what a complete TMI interior would run? If anyone has gone this route. If it is good quality and I could install it myself and save a substantial amount of money it may be the way to go. Thanks for the feedback

Hi Travis, I saw a pretty much complete interior at a car show earlier this year. Can't find the pics but will say it looks awesome. It was the Sport XR. I've never heard a complaint quality wise. If I remember right, Waylon at TMI estimated about 5k so yes, you could cut your estimate in half and install yourself.

I recently installed TMI Sport R seat covers and foam in my 69 Camaro.
I also installed their door and rear panels and headliner, sail panels and visors. Used ACC plush 1 piece mass backed carpet. Very pleased with everything. Doubt I spend over $2K You can see pics on my for sale thread. |
The TMI interiors are very good quality items. You did not say what car you have but I especially like their one piece headliner in my 68 Camaro. It is easy to install and looks great.
I also recommend you contact Matt at MCB he has great pricing on TMI products. |
