WTB 1969 Pro touring Camaro CANADA
Ok, fellow Canadians I've got a buddy looking for a 69' Camaro, with a budget up to $75,000, CANADIAN funds for the right car
Let me know if anyone has anything they would like to sell. Thanks Steve |
US welcome as well
Guys, let me add ...
Also willing to spend up to $50,000 US for the right car anywhere in the USA Let me know guys. Looking for a driver, preferably in black, silver or blue with an LS Thanks Steve |
50 usd is tight for an LS protour car with suspension wheels and great paint and interior.
You know as well as I do what it cost to build a quality car. |
pro touring
Absolutely, sorry I was not specific enough.
Does not have to be a pro toured car Looking for a solid car with LS conversion done, does not have to be show car quality, does not have to have suspension done, would prefer disc brakes on 4 corners. Are currently looking at a few cars right now between $35k and $50k John, with the Canadian dollar exchange rate now at 40% it's killing us so thus the US $50k limit ($70k Can) Cheers Steve |
hey steve i know you mention 69 but if he changes is mind i have a nice 68 I'm thinking of selling
|
I would get Tony's 68 for sure, he can give you a little taste of some pro touring as well. I have a friend in Florida who just restored a 69 top to bottom He has a 383 with a 5 speed. All new stock interior, all new body, paint, electrical, you name it. It's all new. maybe a good starting point. PM me if you are interested and i can put you too in touch. I think he has a 396 for it as well.

I can attest a good first gen/early 70s camaro is not going to be cheap. A quality stock car especially a 69-73 camaro will cost you $15-$20k+. Add in some quality suspension parts and an LS engine, expect to pay closer to $75k American. Total investment in my 70 is already $35k and it's really just driver quality.

If youre looking for a KILLER deal on a BUILDER car.
I have a 100% new shell, minitubbed, framerails metal finished, DSE frame connectors done, Complete new front end, new grille. Very clean subframe and 12 bolt. 4x14" COPO steel wheels. A perfect ZERO rust/issues body almost ready for tour paint color choice. If you want a motor, i have a 30k km 2012 5.3 LS or A70k km 454. Or just buy whatever you want. The price for a Dynacorn body is around 16500$ USD for the mini tubbed shaved firewall body. This one already has DSE connectors, full front end (3000$) including latch and 2" cowl hood, 4.10 posi 12 bolt(1500$) and subframe (500$ Value or 1600$ For a new one) thats a 26k$ value. I need 16,500$ For the 100% new roller, and THATS CANADIAN MONEY AS IM IN MONTREAL, a few hours. i have every part to build the car if you want them too. (From the ebrake bracket to glass and seats etc etc from complete car thorn apart) 1500$ gets you my 5.3 and you juste need to add your paint job of your color choice and youll NEVER hit 50k$ with a PERFECT AND NEW body that has never seen rust. Why buy a car "almost"to your liking, when you can build one EXACTLY to your standards... Let me know!! ;-) Im posting the ad on here soon, i saw yours while looking at what was going on before posting mine... Will also be on Kijiji MTL and GTA next week. Mario |
Leadfoot..wanna sell the COPO wheels ?
|
Yes......
With the shell!!! It'd be a perfect project to build your next over the top ride!! I was gonna build a COPO clone, (512 block, 074 heads) but have a deal on a white '14 2SS 1LE. Im thinking im gonna try out the newer rides for awhile... I was like, hey, if im gonna be LS' ing this and T-56'n that, why not get and try all that come's with it!? But seriously Charlie, they are part of the package at this point + they would surely not be a good deal for you with shipping anyway...(unless your wanting just the Dog Dish caps?) Thanks for the interest tough, Mario |
